In order to meet pollution control standards, air pollution controls called "dry scrubbers" were installed in 1974 at Kaiser Aluminum's Tideflats plant to remove material from plant emissions. The $12,000,000 system was expected to be completed in September of 1974. Color view of new installation taken on September 20, 1974, on behalf of Kaiser Aluminum.
