The Adna Mill Company in Adna, Washington, six miles west of Chehalis on the South Bend branch of the Northern Pacific Railroad. In the early 1900s, Adna consisted of two general merchandise stores, two hotels, a blacksmith shop, one Evangelical church and a public school.
