Patients from the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital were the honored guests at a most unique Christmas party held December 17, 1953 at the Earle Hotel. They were the recipients of gifts made by an absent host. The gifts were made by inmates in the federal penitentiary on McNeil Island. The 18 inmates, members of the Bull-Bow Chapter of the Dale Carnegie Club, collected funds, bought materials and crafted purses, picture frames, jewel boxes, billfolds and card cases for the 60 men and women registered at the clinic. The home of Robert Billsbrough and Joan Price. Both husband and wife were architects. A counter to the left seems to serve as room divider between what seem to be two different level rooms. Small windows at the ceiling level provide natural lighting. The almost free standing fireplace can be seen to the left. A suspended round lamp gives the room an oriental flair. Molded plastic chairs can be seen in front of the draped picture window.

The home of Robert Billsbrough and Joan Price. Both husband and wife were architects. Robert Billsbrough Price was a commercial architect and responsible for the design of the Nalley Valley fire station, the National Bank of Washington Industrial branch and Puyallup Jr. High School, among others. His own home is very stark and modernistic. A free standing fire pit extends from a brick wall with a black metal chimney. Formed formica chairs compete with canvas sling chairs. Long drapes cover what is probably a picture window to the right.
