Walker Apartments, 6th and Saint Helens Avenues. Sandstone building by Roland Borhek, Architect, 1927, built by and for Robert Walker of the Walker Cut Stone Company, operators of the quarry at Wilkeson, Washington. The building was built for $350,000 and was comprised of 68 apartments, of 2-3 rooms each. It featured an inner paved court, of 26 x 75 feet, terraced in stone with a fountain at one end.
