ca. 1890. Charles Barstow Wright, 1822 - 1898, a builder of the Northern Pacific Railroad and of the city of Tacoma, Washington. He also founded Annie Wright Seminary, then a private school for girls, donated land which became Wright Park, donated time and money to build the old St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and started the first gas and water systems in Tacoma.
