Scope and content
On Christmas Eve in 1936, Dana Hunter, wearing his pajamas and holding a stuffed dog, sat in the glow from his family's fireplace, waiting for Santa Claus. He was hoping to catch Santa so he could remind him about the drum, train and sled that he asked for in his letter the week before. From the heaviness of Dana's eyelids, he was probably fast asleep before Santa arrived. Dana is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Hunter, Jr., 3711 No. Verde (T. Times 12/24/1936, pg. 7)
