Scope and content
ca. 1938. This building was constructed in 1938 for Lee Kress. It was designed by Russell, Lance & Muri, architects. Mr. Kress had grown up and attended school in Tacoma before starting out in the restaurant business. He already owned two malt shops in Olympia and one in the Bostwick building. This one was advertised as a drive inn. By 1945, it was occupied by the Five Point Inn.
