Three drivers stand by their GMC trucks parked outside the Home Service Co./Supreme Cleaners building on Center St. on June 19, 1962. Jack Hersey was the president of the laundry and cleaning operation that advertised dependable laundering and lusterized dry cleaning. Tacoma Superior Laundry and Pantorium Supreme Cleaners were part of the Home Service Co. Photograph ordered by Irwin-Jones Motor Co.

This is an alternate view of Supreme Cleaners, 1012 Center St., as photographed on September 25, 1948. See D35459, image 5, for close-up of drive-in side. Supreme Cleaners was affiliated with Superior Service Laundry at 2011 South Tacoma Way as both were owned/operated by the same individuals: F.J. Meyer, president and W.C. Miller, vice president. Supreme Cleaners opened in April of 1934 in this large concrete plant. A billboard on one side of the two-story structure emphasized the care Supreme Cleaners would show to fur garments including storage, restyling, cleaning and repairing.
