Kinnear Apartments, Division and L Streets, W.H. Opie Company, Bob Martin. This side view of the building shows two open arches that provide a lanai area for some of the apartments. The 1949 Tacoma City Directory listed more than 250 apartment buildings in Tacoma. This building was built in 1910 and was named the Cresco Apartments. The name was changed to Kinnear in 1914.

It is a brick building with a decorative cornice at the flat roof line. Trees stand in the parking strip between the sidewalk and street.
