Choir at the Church of Holy Communion. In December of 1938, the choir of the Church of Holy Communion, 1401 So. Vera Janalyne Angus and Raymond James Malcomb were married December 16, 1949, at the Church of Holy Communion. The bride is wearing a green velvet floor-length gown with a train and a matching hat trimmed with imported hand-made French veiling and she carries a bouquet of pink roses and bouvardia. The groom, chief petty officer Raymond James Malcomb, is wearing his U.S. Navy uniform. They stand together at the church altar. (TNT, 1/21/1950, p.8)
