Mrs. Frances Cuculich smiled brightly on July 8, 1942 as she got reacquainted with her brother Frank Pavecic whom she had not seen for fifty years. Mr. Pavecic used his hands to tell a story as the pair were photographed in the yard of the Cuculich home at 2006 No. 30th. Mrs. Cuculich left Europe fifty years ago and settled in Tacoma. Mr. Pavecic left ten years later and settled in Chicago. One of his six sons had recently relocated to Tacoma and was employed in shipbuilding. (T.Times 7/9/1942, pg. 8)
