Pierce County Humane Society has just installed insulation and extended the roof in the canine kennel area. These additions will help keep the dogs warm and dry during the cold winter months, and provide them with shade during the summer. Poundmaster A. T. Snow was reminding Pierce County dog owners to make sure dog licenses were renewed for 1949, the cost was $1 for male and spayed females and $3 for unspayed females.
