Interior and exterior of home for Christmas cards, Mrs. J.A. Gallow. Bessie and Joe Gallow were proud of their beautiful home with views of Puget Sound. Their large kitchen has plenty of counter space under large windows decorated with printed curtains and matching blinds. Ceramic tile covers the counters and back splash areas. A small island juts into the room just beyond the sink. A breakfast nook is seen beyond, again using large windows to allow views of the water. An electric range is seen in the left foreground and a refrigerator is seen on the right. A highly patterned linoleum was chosen for the floor.
