Mountain View Memorial Park was having outdoor Easter Memorial Services. More than 1,000 people were expected to attend. Reverend Harold P. Lang and Reverend William P. McCormick would be the pastors conducting the service. Clover Park Choir would be performing and Lonna Pugh was the soloist. View of large group of people gathered at the Mountain View grounds.

Mountain View Memorial Park was having outdoor Easter Memorial Services, beginning at 6:30 A.M., with the organ preclude at 6:15 A.M. Special sunrise service buses would be transporting people at 6:00 A.M. and travel direct via South Tacoma Way up to Mountain View. KMO radio would be broadcasting the event live, and rebroadcast the event at 9:30 A.M. View of people gathered at Mountain View grounds.
