Fred T. Wheeler was a real estate salesman for the Ray D. Shaw Company. Fred and his wife Golda had a home at 830 South Prospect Street. Fred was campaigning and was later appointed the Outside Business Representative for the Cooks, Waiters, Waitresses and Bartenders Local Union No. 61 (T. Times, 11/12/47, p. 1).
