Lester G. Hayes, 32-year-old Army veteran, was given a 100% disability claim from the Veterans Administration as a result of a post encephalitic condition of palsy. However, Lester decided to enroll in the training program of the Veterans Administration in Tacoma where he is learning to master the precise technique of tying trout flies. View of Lester G. Hayes (right) and Jacob Cormier, tying colorful fishing lures. He is currently working on a royal coachman (T. Times, 1/9/48, p. 7).
