Betty Troxel casts a discriminating eye at lingerie for her trousseau at Knettles Corset Shop, 922 Broadway. TNT 1952 wedding layout. Miss Troxel was the fiancee of Clarence Galvin Hopper, Jr. and their wedding was scheduled for July 5, 1952. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl C. Troxel of Everett and he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Hopper Sr. of Tacoma. Their engagement was announced with tiny phonograph records inscribed with the news and given to party guests. The prospective bride lived in Tacoma and majored in music at the College of Puget Sound. She was a member of Delta Alpha Gamma sorority. Hopper was a graduate of Stadium High and attended the University of Washington, where he was a member of Sigma Nu. (TNT 3/9/1952, pg. D-1)
