Even in the alley entrance to the Sears, Roebuck parking lot, a customer could not escape displays of Sears automotive supplies for sale. Boxes of car blankets, rows of Allstate motor oil, Hide A Keys, and Allstate Cross Country tool kits could be seen through large, unadorned windows while a huge banner urging savvy customers to buy and save money on tires and tubes is pasted above.
