Scope and content

Lincoln High School's International Club posed outside school doors on March 13, 1930. Their aim was to "form world-wide friendship between students." Members accomplished this by exchanging letters with young people from other countries and presenting colorful programs featuring life in foreign lands. Among those participating as a club officer was Yoshio Iwanaga, believed to be at extreme left, front row. The International Club was formed in 1927 at Lincoln. Photograph taken for the Lincolnian yearbook. (1930 Lincolnian, p. 92-93)
