An unidentified singer, possibly Mickey McDougall, performed with a small combo for the fourth program of the new Grassi Brothers "Jamboree" radio program. The September 7, 1943 program was broadcast live on KTBI radio at 8:30 pm from the USO at 13th and Pacific Avenue. The Grassi brothers owned and operated a used car dealership at 1007 So. J Street; their radio program on KTBI was broadcast every Tuesday evening from 8:30 to 9:00. KTBI began broadcasting in August of 1941 from studios on the 2nd floor of the Puget Sound Bank building, 1117-9 Pacific Ave. KTBI later became KTAC. (TNT 8/22/1943 p.B-10 ad)
