Llewellyn Advertising Agency. Tacoma General Hospital. These two women, Mrs. Bessie Miln Hamilton of Vancouver, B.C., and Mrs. Maude Matthews Ellegood of Pacific Grove, California, were honored guests at the dedication of Jackson Hall, the new nurses home of Tacoma General Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Ellegood were the last living members of the first graduating class of the School of Nursing 50 years ago in 1897. This school was the first of its kind established in the State of Washington. (TNT, 5/28/1947)
