Scope and content
Personnel and trucks in front of store, Bud's Welding Supply. Standing before the firm's headquarters are seven of Bud's Welding Supply's eight employees with two of the company's service vehicles: L-R, Bud Ohler, Dan Tracy, Leo Leifester, Minnie Craig, Peggy Bass, Doc Wyckoff and Ken Ripley. Not shown was Clark Abernathy. Each was a specialist in their line. Bud Ohler started the company four years earlier at 944 Market. By this time the company had over 500 accounts, supplying many of them through truck-mounted welding service which carried full equipment to clients. The company specialized in supplying welding concerns, doing only demonstration work itself. (T.Times, 3/29/1948, p.7)
