CPS. Dr. R. Franklin Thompson, President of the College of Puget Sound, and John Heinrick, Athletic Director at CPS, hold an architectural drawing of the proposed new field house at the campus. Three other men stand behind the drawing by Dugan, Mock and Morrison Architects. Groundbreaking took place August 4, 1948, and the building was dedicated to the 138 men who had been students at the college who died in World War II.
