Scope and content
Florence Patrick (left) and Lillian Phillips (right) hosted a luncheon for the Postal Supervisors' Auxiliary members of Tacoma, Olympia and Seattle at Mrs. Patrick's home. The ladies showed slides and art work depicting the early days of Tacoma. Mrs. Patrick is holding up "Old Delin Mill" by Major Conger, this original painting is now owned by the artist's son, Colonel George Conger; it was on display at her home for her guests to view (T.N.T., 4/29/49, p. 36).
