Florence Patrick became interested in puppets during her time as a student in Montana State University. Ms. Patrick studied with drama teacher, John Mason, who is now one of New York's famous drama critics. Florence's puppets are about 12 inches high, and made of donkey skin pounded thin then painted. View of Florence Patrick with her hand puppets and Chinese Shadow puppets (T. Times, 1/9/49, p. 25).
