The Good Fruit Grower publishes stories and news related to fruit farming in the Pacific Northwest. The periodical provides sections that report on production in the fruit farming industry and highlights events for the farming community. Good Fruit Grower is owned and published by the Washington State Fruit Commission.

The Homefinder was published by Children's Home Society of Washington quarterly and focused the adoption, fostering, and education of children in Washington state. The title was Washington Children's Homefinder from its inception up to September 1964 (Vol.66 No.3). The publication would often include pictures of children and information on adoption, fostering, homeschooling, and social services.

The Island Lantern (originally called "The Monthly Island Lantern") was a publication that ran from April 1, 1924 through March 1980. As proclaimed at the start of nearly every issue it is "published .. by and for the men of the U. S. Penitentiary. McNeil Island, Washington ... The purpose of this publication is to give inmates opportunities for self-expression: to provide a medium for discussion of public problems: to foster better understanding between inmates and the public and to be constructively informative."

"The Masonic Journal" was a monthly publication that was first published with its March 25, 1922 issue. The publication centered on "Masonic ideas and ideals," and was published at the Provident Building in Tacoma, Washington. "The Masonic Journal" would change its title to "Washington Masonic Journal" for the April 1924 issue through the August or September issue of 1925, which it then reverted back to its original name.

The Negro History Bulletin, now known as The Black History Bulletin, was first established in 1937 by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. It was published first monthly, then bi-monthly in 1976 and changed to quarterly in 1979. The Black History Bulletin publishes articles on important Black historical figures, moments of Black history, and current events relating to the civil rights and lived experience of Black Americans. The Bulletin has also featured advertisements for colleges, historical exhibitions, and Black History Week/Month.

Northwest Air Lifter is a publication for the Lewis-McChord Airforce Base. The publication features national news headlines relating to the military. It also features stories and information on people and events in the McChord Base community.

Daily newspaper primarily focused on issues of relevance to Tacoma and Pierce County's Black community. Editions highlighted both local and national news and many editions included supplements titled "Happenings" and "Business Legal Journal" where local community events and business updates were published.

The Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) News was first published in 1985. NWIFC is published quarterly and changed its name in Fall 2015 to "Northwest Treaty Tribes: Protecting Natural Resources for Everyone". NWIFC focuses on issues regarding the climate crisis, conservation of fish and other animals, habitat preservation, tribal traditions, and treaty rights.

Newsletter for the Northwest Railway Museum, which is based in Snoqualmie, Washington, in King County, that focuses on various railroad news, the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad in particular, plus activities and events held by the museum. The first publication is titled “Puget Sound and Snoqualmie Valley Railroad” (June 1976) before changing the name to "The Sounder", and the first four quarterly publications: (Holiday 1976 – Spring 1978) are in a magazine-like format. Newsletter then changed to a monthly format in 1977 and later a bi-monthly format with occasional monthly special edition issues in September 2006 and a quarterly format from Winter 2010 to the present.

Weekly newspaper primarily focused on issues of relevance to Tacoma's Black community. At various points, the title appeared as "The Tacoma Facts" and "The Northwest Facts." In the 1970s, the paper advertised itself as "the newspaper most people prefer for information about Tacoma's Minority Communities."

Includes scrapbooks, albums, membership records, publications, and photographic slides and prints. Also included are materials contributed by individual members of the Tacoma Chapter of the Mountaineers.

The Woman Voter is a monthly magazine published by the League of Women Voters of Tacoma/Pierce County. It changed its name to The Voter in 1931, and covered politics on the local and national level. Its goal was to inform women voters of their civic responsibility and it published articles on political events, local political issues, and supported candidates for office. After it became a newsletter its topics were more focused on its own members in the League of Women Voters and published meetings, activities, calendars of events and financial/budgetary matters concerning the organization.

Monthly newspaper publication published in Seattle by the Automobile Club of Washington, a chapter of the national American Automobile Association (AAA). Content included various automobile and transportation news on a local, regional, state and federal level, editorials, various events throughout the state including the Western Washington Fair and the World’s Fair, and automobile column and automobile transportation news in politics.

The Kissick Square Dance Collection includes directories and programs for square dance festivals from 1975-2000, along with extensive documentation on organization of the 30th Annual National Convention, as well as periodicals and newsletters on how to host and participate in fun and successful square dance events. Mementos of square dance events and a guest book for the Twilite Twirlers square dance club are also included.

Includes photos taken by Thomas H Rutter of local buildings, the waterfront, and long boats.

This Collection is comprised of the artistic and written output of Thomas S. Handforth. It includes letters, artwork, news clippings, scrap books, photographs, books, and a recording of his Caldecott acceptance speech.

Includes photographs, correspondence, speeches, writings, and newspaper clippings related to Tollefson's work as the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney, a member of the United States Congress, and the Director of the Washington State Department of Fisheries. Tacoma bi-monthly then quarterly publication was a project of ArtRod and was “a group of artists and community members dedicated to promoting the arts and cultural life of Tacoma and the South Sound.” Toby Room’s editors/publishers were Jared Pappas-Kelley (Issues 1-2, 4-10), Sarah Keliher (1-2, 4-7) and Michael Lent (8-10). The magazine featured writings and interviews among established and emerging local and regional visual artists, musicians, writers and filmmakers.

Washington Highways, a publication of Washington State Department of Highways began in 1951 by the title News. in 1957 the title changed to Highway News, then in 1962 to Washington Highway News and finally to Washington Highways in 1964. The title ceased with the May 1972 issue. The periodical covered transportation projects, highway district news, department personnel news, and department safety news in Washington State.

Newsletter for the Washington Park Arboretum, a public park in Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington, which is managed by the University of Washington Botanic Gardens and the City of Seattle. The monthly newsletter, which later changed to a bi-monthly in 2001 and then quarterly format in 2008, focused on Arboretum news, plant sales, fundraisers, calendars of events and gardening tips.

Holdings begin with the Washington Park Arboretum (1985-1987), continuing with the Washington Park Arboretum Newsletter (1987-1988) and Washington Park Arboretum Foundation Newsletter (1988-1995), and concluding with Ground Work (1995-1997, 2001-2010).
