Salishan Story Fest was held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Family Investment Center (1744 E 44th Street). The event was hosted by the Community Archives Center with support from Tacoma Housing Authority, Salishan Association, Metro Parks Tacoma, Grit City Magazine, UW iSchool, School's Out Washington, the Tacoma Arts Commission, and the Institute for Museum and Library Services. At the event, attendees were invited to record their story, digitize family photos, hear stories from Salishan residents, and watch short films about the neighborhood.

Archiving the West End Communities was a preservation event conducted by the Community Archives Center and hosted by the Swasey library branch on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

On December 10, 2022, at the Mottet branch, Sarah A. Chavez facilitated a workshop on writing about food memories. According to the Tacoma Public Library's event description, "This writing workshop invited folx to think about how food bridges us culturally in terms of reclamation, celebration and ancestral/traditional connections." Sarah. A. Chavez is a Chicana author and Assistant Teaching Professor of the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences at the University of Washington-Tacoma.
Metro Parks Dash Point Park and Pier Public Meeting

The Dash Point Park and Pier Public Meeting was held on March 14, 2023 at the Center at Norpoint. The meeting was hosted by Metro Parks and was held to gain community feedback on the renovation of the Dash Point Pier and surrounding park. Community Archives Center staff recorded oral histories with attendees and hosted a pop-up exhibit with historic photos and documents related to the Dash Point area.

Archiving Northeast Communities was a community preservation event conducted by the Community Archives Center and hosted by the Kobetich library branch on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

T-Town 2023, a City Services Expo hosted by Tacoma Venues and Events, was held on April 28 and 29, 2023 at the Tacoma Dome. The event coincided with the 40 anniversary of the opening of the Tacoma Dome. The Northwest Room and Community Archives Center hosted an exhibit highlighting the Dome's history and gathered short interviews with attendees. Attendees were prompted to respond to the question "What does Tacoma mean to you?" Many responders also commented on their memoires of the Tacoma Dome. Interviews were conducted by Spencer Bowman on April 28 and dindria barrow on April 29.
