John H. Anderson, Exalted Ruler of the Tacoma Elks and future mayor, exchanges handshakes with his Spokane counterpart during a week-long visit by a large Tacoma Elks contingent to the Lilac City. The Tacoma group had traveled by train and arrived at the Great Northern Station in mid-October of 1949. ALBUM 14.
