"The Washingtonian: A State Magazine of Progress"

A magazine published monthly that touted itself as being "Dedicated to the Advancement of a State Consciousness and Unity. Ever alert to support any Development Project in the State of Washington". Stories talked about various regions in the state including Tacoma, Spokane and Seattle. The publication's publisher was Arthur H. Allen and editor was Paul H. Lovering with the executive offices being in the Douglas Building in Seattle.

Meeting Minutes

Meeting minutes before 1907 contain handwritten notes by the Board Secretary. Meeting minutes Dec. 16, 1909 to present contain original signatures of the Board Clerk/Secretary, Board President, Board Trustee or Library Director.

Board Packets

Board packets are handed out to Tacoma Public Library Board of Trustee members at monthly meetings. These packets are copied for the various members, so will not contain original signatures. Packets contain agendas, correspondence, previous month's meeting minutes, financial reports, unfinished business, staffing, circulation stats, library programs, partnerships, community news and other libraries.
