Northwest Environmental Journal
The Northwest Environmental Journal was published by the Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Washington. It aimed to publish research involving the environment in the states of Alaska, Idaho, western Montana, Oregon, Washington, and northwest Canada. The journal included research that was also multidisciplinary, including works involving the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. It was usually published bi-annually.
A newsletter for local and county historical societies. Includes reports and notices related to historical societies in Washington state.

Harris, B.J. III
Benjamin Harris III was sentenced to death in 1984 for the shooting of Tacoma auto mechanic Jimmy Lee Turner. Harris was exonerated in 1997 and became the first death-row inmate released from prison in Washington state since the state reinstated the death penalty in 1981.
